Las Vegas… The world-renowned recreation and entertainment center. Once a year, however, this city becomes the center for web industry, where the future of eCommerce is decided upon. All this is thanks to the Imagine conference held by eBay Enterprise. For full 3 days, April, 20th through April, 22nd, 2015, the key players in Magento ecosystem – both merchants and developers – will be working together to define the fate of the platform.
Besides offering numerous networking opportunities, Imagine serves the most reliable source of information regarding the Magento platform and ecosystem. Imagine is where all the really important announcements are made.
We at Peexl are proud to join the ranks of the conference participants. We will be attending Imagine to keep up with the latest news and stay on the forefront of eCommerce development.
So what is so special about Imagine 2015?
The short two-word answer is “Magento 2”. The new platform had been rumored about for years, until the official development schedule of Magento 2 was finally announced at Imagine 2014. Now, a year after, with the developer beta having been around for a couple of months, Imagine 2015 will offer detailed and to-the-point insights on how the works on the new platform are moving on.
Three Magento 2 Developer Deep Dive Sessions will introduce the developers to the latest news on the platform, so that the work with that platform could be planned ahead. The Magento 2 Office Hours session will offer attendees an opportunity to ask the questions directly to the Magento 2 development team.
Peexl representatives will be there, getting ready to deliver Magento 2 migration and development services to our clients as soon as the platform is released.
However, despite the obvious excitement regarding Magento 2, Imagine 2015 has much more than this to offer to merchants and developers alike.
Technology, no matter how powerful it is, has little value if not used with maximum efficiency. So, another focus of the conference is Magento implementation. Sessions dedicated to innovations in payment methods, security, design and mobile commerce are to help both developers and merchants create visually appealing, user-friendly and trustworthy web stores.
Peexl team has vast experience in Magento implementation, but we are still eager to enrich this experience by learning from others. We’ll be carefully gathering the best practices, hints and know-how’s at the conference – all to deliver the best to our clients.
Finally, two Pitchfest sessions, where select conference sponsors will be announcing their new Magento-related products and services, are a true “magic box”. It’s no secret that Magento’s open architecture allows for incredible functional improvements and deep integration – so we at Peexl are excited to see what the major business partners roll out this time.
